Three or four inches of sand should be used to level the bottom of the hole.
The backhoe must fill around the side of the tank while we grout the inside seam. By doing this the seam will not be disturbed.
Do not fill the tank with water above the seam for at least 24 hours.
We recommend that the dirt be mounded over the tank so the surface water will run off.
We do not recommend setting storage tanks in freezing weather.
NOTE: If these instructions are not followed, we will not be responsible for the tank.
! WARNING!
If used for storing drinking water, the inside of the tank should be sanitized prior to use. If roof or pond water is run into the tank, a filter should be used, and the water treated. If pipes are connected to the tank; be sure that they are watertight. We recommend that you see your county environmental agent.
Due to the uncertainty of specifications, a minimum of 21 days notice is required on water storage tank orders. Please call for current pricing.
