Storm Shelter Installation

• Three or four inches of sand should be used to slope the bottom of the hole.

• We recommend the original dirt be used to backfill around the shelter.  Do not backfill with sand.

• We recommend the original dirt be mounded over the shelter so the surface water will run off.

Note:      Due to conditions similar to a basement, a sump pump or natural drainage may be required.  Due to the uncertainty of specifications, 14 days notice is required on storm shelter orders.

Storm Shelter Dimensions:  Shelter size is 5' 4" wide x 10' 7" long.  Hole size is 6' 4" wide x 11' 7" long.

Height of shelter is 74".
